Evidence for supplier review and material approval

Synthetic Leather Certificates and Test Reports

This page organizes WINIW's publicly available document previews by evidence type. Buyers can review archived records for footwear material testing, chemical compliance, automotive performance and flammability, then request a current document matched to the exact material and destination market.

A certificate or test report only supports the organization, sample, scope, standard, date and result stated in that document. It should not be treated as proof for every WINIW material or every production batch.

How to Read the Evidence

Different documents answer different procurement questions. Checking the document type first helps prevent a sample-level result from being mistaken for a company-wide or product-range certification.

Certificate

Confirms a named organization, product scope or system against the scheme printed on the certificate. Always check holder, scope, certificate number, issue date and validity.

Product Test Report

Records tests performed on an identified sample under stated methods and conditions. It does not automatically cover another color, backing, formulation, thickness or production lot.

Batch or Shipment Evidence

Links an approved specification to material supplied for a particular order. Depending on the project, this may include a COA, inspection record, declaration or a newly commissioned third-party test.

Flammability Test Report Archive

Historical suede and PVC leather report pages

The current page groups these images as flammability reports. The public first page identifies an SGS report for WINIW automotive suede dated 27 May 2021. Because different constructions and intended markets can require different methods, confirm the exact standard and result from the complete report for the proposed material.

Match Evidence to Your Application

Start with the intended product and market, then confirm the test scope. A document selected only by a familiar standard name may not cover the actual material construction or buyer specification.

Footwear and Safety Footwear

Provide the shoe component, material code, construction, target EN ISO 20345 edition/clauses and any brand-specific requirement. The archived 2018 report should be used only as a reference when discussing current testing.

Review footwear materials

Automotive Interiors

Define the component, color, substrate, abrasion/light method, flammability method, OEM specification and acceptance level. Performance evidence must match the submitted material.

Review automotive materials

Upholstery and Interior Materials

Confirm end-use fire, abrasion, chemical and cleaning requirements by destination market. A footwear or automotive report does not automatically cover upholstery.

Review upholstery materials

General Chemical Compliance

State the country, restricted-substance list, customer specification, material components and required reporting date. The requested evidence may be a certificate, test report, supplier declaration or batch document.

Ask for a compliance match

Request and Verification Process

Use this process when you need evidence for supplier onboarding, product development, a tender or pre-shipment approval.

Define the Requirement

Share application, market, material/SKU, standard/version and customer specification.

Match the Evidence

WINIW identifies the most relevant certificate, report, declaration or test plan.

Check Scope and Status

Verify issuer, holder, sample, number, date, validity, method and result.

Approve the Exact Material

Link the evidence to a swatch, specification, color, backing and approved sample.

Control Revisions

Record the evidence ID and replace expired or superseded documents.

Certificates and Test Reports FAQ

Are all documents shown on this page currently valid?

No. They are public archive copies, mainly dated 2018-2021. The displayed OEKO-TEX certificate states validity only through 30 November 2024. Request the latest approved evidence before relying on any claim.

Does a test report mean the whole WINIW product range is certified?

No. A test report applies to the identified sample and stated test conditions. Another material, color, backing, thickness or formulation may require separate confirmation or testing.

What information should I send when requesting a report?

Provide the application, destination market, material or SKU, color and construction, required standard and version, customer specification, order stage and deadline.

Can I use the archived OEKO-TEX certificate for a current product claim?

Not without renewed evidence. The public copy shown here expired in 2024. Obtain the current certificate, check its holder and scope, and verify it through the scheme's official channel before making a claim.

What is the difference between REACH evidence and OEKO-TEX certification?

The documents use different frameworks and scopes. A REACH-related test report records testing or assessment for identified samples and requirements, while an OEKO-TEX certificate applies to the holder and product scope printed on the valid certificate.

Can WINIW arrange testing for a specific customer standard?

Project-specific testing can be discussed after the material, method, sample preparation, acceptance criteria, laboratory and commercial responsibility are confirmed. Do not assume an archived report covers a new standard.

Why are some report details not summarized on the page?

A result can be misread without the complete method, conditions, units, sample description and acceptance criteria. Request the full report and have your technical or quality team review it for the intended use.

Request Evidence for the Exact Material You Plan to Buy

Send the application, material or SKU, destination market, required standard and approval deadline. WINIW can then identify the relevant current document, clarify its scope and discuss whether new testing is needed.
